Just returned from a stay at this property.Whilst the property is accurately described on the listing, there are quite a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed.1: all the Outside/Patio furniture is very dirty and one of the loungers had a broken leg that appeared to have been attempted to repair using Sellotape.2. the shower screen in the main bedroom does not slide properly, very difficult to operate.3. the washing machine is old, rusty and the inside of the tub has a big crack in the housing, when spinning it sounds very unsafe4. There were several damaged panels in the pool bug screen, some damaged by strimmer possibly, one where the screen is just flapping in the wind.5. Some of the sinks in the bathrooms drain very slowly and the drainage obviously needs attention.Overall, whilst we did not complain to the management, the house needs some updates and repairs to make it acceptable. In fact, the Villa instruction book was very outdated in terms of information and lacked any contact/emergency contact details should the need arise…first time we have not had any contact details provided and when you consider that the management company sometimes took days to respond to queries pre-stay, did not instill confidence that matters would be addresses quickly had the need arisen.It is important to understand that the pool area overlooks the main road through Lindfields, so if privacy is important to you, this may be an issue.
