I hate having to leave a bad review. The employees were so nice and the breakfast was great. However, the room was hot and dark with no windows. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling and it was a short door to the room. We kept banging our head on the doorframe.

Very disappointing customer service

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review because of something that happened: we spent 2 nights at the hotel at the beginning of our stay, and it was fine. The room was OK, and staff seemed nice (only having one person speaking English). Then we left, and they did not say anything else to us, just good bye… we stayed in Sicily for a week, and I forgot that I have had another reservation to this same hotel the day prior to our departure. I never received an email from hotels.com reminding us of this reservation until late afternoon the same day, but we already made another reservation earlier that day so I had to cancel this one. They did not want to give us a refund (which I understand as the booking was non refundable) but they did not even want to discuss it, as I consider that not reminding us the reservation while we were there was part of their fault too (and we were customers as we spent already 2 nights there!)… so at the end of the day, I consider this place as a bad experience in a very nice trip to Sicily otherwise, and I would not recommend it.

Room and bathroom were very spacious. Bed comfortable, shower one other best we had on our trip. Interior was a little dated but quiet for a big city like Palermo and the location near Piazza Marina and the Lungomare was great! One of the best restaurants in Palermo almost directly across the street! Breakfast nice and owner conveniently offered to take us to the train station instead of waiting for a taxi for a nominal fee.

Stayed for two nights. Didn’t like the idea that no one was at the front desk for majority of the day. Any questions, any help you have to call the owners daughter. She is pretty good at responding but this property looks more like an air b &b than a hotel. The people who run this place show up every morning at 8 to serve breakfast and then leave. You are on your Ian’s the rest of the day. Rooms were large, no elevator, basic amenities. Breakfast was so basic and missing a lot of items. No eggs, they start serving breakfast at 8. At 8:05 they are out of cheese, crosssnts and cold cuts. If breakfast is not included in your plan, don’t buy it, &16 is not worth. I would not recommend and won’t stay here at this hotel again. Very disappointing

This property is excellent all around. Martina and the rest of the staff were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and fresh, and the service was very good. The area around the hotel was excellent as the location was walkable to all the city’s historical and old town attractions. Plenty of restaurants and bars around the hotel within walking distance.

This is truly a family owned business. And if you stay here you are treated like family. It’s very comfortable and well located. Staff went out of their way to assist us on several occasions. Plus the cappuccino is amazing.

The property was ideally situated a short walk from the train station and also just a short walk from the main street. It was in a very vibrant area with lots of bars and restaurants very close by, but this also meant that it could be quite noisy into the early hours of the morning. The staff were very helpful and the free breakfast was very adequate. Staying for a whole week the room was not serviced and toilet rolls etc were not replenished, though I'm sure if we'd asked they would have been provided.

Perfect!

This property is a real gem. Right in the centre of Palermo near one of the main squares and 20 mins walk from the central rail and bus terminals.Within walking distance of all of the city's sights and in close proximity to numerous bars and restaurants. The manager & staff are all very friendly, efficient and fun. The breakfast provided was perfectly adequate. What a lovely place. If we ever visited Palermo again this is where we would stay.
