We doubt Travelodge was a great hotel, but this Travelodge is not. It’s old needs a lot of maintenance and several tripping hazards and there’s no place to plug in your chargers convenient.

This is a somewhat dated but clean (and inexpensive) hotel close to Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Beds were nice. Elmer's Restaurant is very close/walkable (and best) for breakfast.

This place is gross and disgusting. First room smelled like urine and was so nasty firstly. Second room was dirty and tub backed up with waster late at night. Horrible experience. Lots of sketchy people and people with addiction issues walking all over and the advertising of this hotel is all incorrect.

Worst hotel room I’ve lived in the U.S. ever! First room had cockroaches and the shower and bathroom fan were not working. Asked to get another room, a bit better but with ants. The WiFi was super slow, and the phone reception was also bad. If you wanna experience a third world country hotel, here you go.

Avoid if possible

Extremely low nightly price, but the hotel property and the rooms are also extremely dilapidated. The rating and the pictures were misleading/outdated. It was also really crowded in the parking lot and at the pool. There were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot. There are two abandoned restaurants on the property. The staff was really nice and gave me a choice of room location, but it didn’t really matter because the rooms looked like they hadn’t been renovated or deep cleaned for 40+ years. The carpet was so old and filthy that it was scary to walk on it. The fixtures on the sink and shower were extremely outdated and unsanitary, covered in mold. Cracked ceilings. Creaking rotted floorboards. There was a blood stain on the curtain. I stay in a lot of older budget motels, but this motel didn’t seem safe from a hygiene/respiratory perspective to even spend the night here. Just because it’s a good price doesn’t mean that basic cleanliness and upkeep should be sacrificed for the customer. The whole property needs a gut renovation, and I regret staying here.
