Overall a good stay. Room was a triple and was huge but a little more storage would have been better but as there was a huge shelf I put folded clothes there. Bathroom was good with huge shower. Breakfast was nice. Loved the roof top pools. The only gripe was the cleaning of the room. Not good. Constant gritty dirty floor so no walking bare foot. Minimum clean was done I think. Staff were friendly. Nice hotel.

Great location, close to the beach. Please note no hotel is on the beach, since the beach is a national park. So they are all walking distance away. The blue sotel is about a half mile from the water. The hotel has 3 pools, a spa, a restaurant, and a lot of help and support. In particular Gee, the lovely lady who books tours was an absolute peach, and helped us out every single day! She alone was worth staying at this hotel! Loved this hotel, and we will definitely be back. Breakfast was simply fantastic. Usually several types of food, even custom prepared and buffet style food. Everybody was kind and friendly. Service was the best I've ever experienced. I think anywhere.

Most staff friendly and helpful, however we had problems on first night with no hot water. Had to call a couple of times for help and updates. Was told to go out and it would be fixed when we got back. We just wanted hot shower and were not going out. Then about 10pm they called to say about complimentary drinks . We were woken up by this call. No one contacted us again about it until we mentioned it at check out . We were then shown complimentary vouchers ....no good now as checking out. Staff at check in and out quite abrupt and rude too , didnt seem to care. Wont stay there again.

Very nice hotel overall and the location is great. It is located away from the madness of the streets so you can get some good rest. We found a lot of ants on the balcony and inside the room which is something others have reported which is why I scored lower on the cleanliness rating. Also the reception staff did seem quite rude and giving fairly blunt answers to any questions asked. The man at the front helping with bags was a superstar and worked really hard and was smiling all the time which was amazing to see.

Had a fantastic 5 night stay in a private pool access room at BlueSotel SMART hotel. The hotel and rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Every staff member was happy and more than willing to help. Views from the roof top pools were fantastic. Food was tasty and they even have a couple of happy hours throughout the day. Great location - very close to the beach, bars and restaurants it even has a night market a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend!

The hotel can be noisy at times. The walls and doors don’t seem to be very sound proof. They offer 20%discount on food to people staying, but you have to present a little business card they provide to get it. For a smart hotel you would expect when you charge to your room that you automatically get your discount, but you don’t.

I was expecting a much nicer hotel from the pictures. The hotel is very grotty and needs a refurb. Floors were not pleasant and had bits coming off. Bathroom wasn’t clean. The shower is not powerful at all and takes ages to properly wash your hair. All pools were grotty. My husband also has bites all over him from the bed sheets. Lots of stains on the sheets as well. Ao Nang is also not a very nice holiday location, it’s very similar to Benidorm in Spain but dirtier. Hotel could be really nice but it needs a complete refurbishment

Staff was very friendly. Location is decent. Rooms and facilities need updating though. Corroded fixtures, odd sewage smells in the bathroom (I literally bought an air freshener for the room) and surprisingly no drawers anywhere for clothes. Much better options in town.
