Property was well maintained. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. I had to ask multiple times for some things (towels, robes). Additionally, I contacted the property in advance regarding my friend’s birthday on Saturday, 8/9. I was told amenities would be in the room. I confirmed on check in with the concierge and again with another concierge later in the day. Both said they would take care of it. On the afternoon of my friend’s birthday 8/9, I again had to go ask if anything would be done in the room. Yes eventually she did receive 2 pieces of cake. I shouldn’t have had to ask multiple times and was disappointed that the resort wasn’t able to put a banner on the door or any other decorations in the room. I was willing to pay or bring decorations had I known.

Room service is awful - it can take over two hours for your food to arrive. Housekeeping often forgets to clean the room, so you end up having to go to the front desk to request it. When I arrived, I had to wait two hours past check-in time to get my room. The restaurants aren’t any better — you can wait 30 minutes just for drinks, and the food? They served cold chicken. Overall, a terrible experience. I’d skip this hotel.

The property is in desperate need of updating. I truly emphasize DESPERATE NEED! We stayed in a Preferred Junior King Suite in an effort to avoid the previous reviews about the room conditions, and enjoy the scenery. However, our room smelled of mildew, there were old spider webs on the top of the bed, and our shower door would not remain closed. We actually had to stuff toilet paper along the shower door to keep it closed. I immediately notified the manager on duty about the condition of the room, and was told to address it with the front desk the next morning. We did this, and were given the runaround all day about checking availability of matching rooms. Keep in mind that the resort was basically empty, and we detected no other occupants in any of the adjacent suites that matched ours. The view from the first floor suite (that I paid hundreds to upgrade to) was blocked by palm trees. There was virtually no views of the landscape we were sold on. Our phone in our room only functioned on speaker mode, and that was useless still because no one EVER answered the phone at the front desk! ALL of these issues were brought to the attention of the front desk staff. We were stuck in that musty, expensive room for 3 days. The other staff was pleasant, and we actually enjoyed the food. However, I would not recommend staying at this resort. Our experience was not very good.

After reading all the reviews on here, I was not expecting to enjoy my time at dreams. However, after staying here with my two children, we absolutely loved how accommodating they were, the grounds were nice. The room was OK however it was clean and had everything you needed. The food was good, to my surprise. I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews about the food Mind you my children are so picky when it comes to food. I had no issues with that. The pool area was nice. They would come out passing around food, entertainment with on point and the music. Overall wonderful stay and I would definitely come back.

This Hotel has false advertisement with the name. Instead of pretty beach, it should be named ugly beach. We were not even able to enjoy the beach. It was dirty and had warnings for animals in the water. The food was bad and limited. We paid for preferred service and it was the same service and food as the regular. customers. I would never recommend this hotel. Bad experience.

Only 1 bar tender at the pool made lines way to long. Everything in resprt was walking distance, that was great. Club was kind of hidden and not much diversity in music. French restaurant was great. Pool view amazing!!

We have stayed at other Dreams resorts. This dreams is run down, the food options were not that great. The staff were nice. The room was spacious. The restaurants require the men to wear long pants and shoes. Its a resort its the summer and we didnt pack pants or shoes only flip flops. They offer room service but it took over an hour and there were times it never showed up.

I love this property. The food and options are hit or miss but I did have some good food. Drinks were excellent and so was the service from the moment I arrived. Ratify bees and landscaping. Room is dated but the facility is stunning
