Nice property - no sun at pool past noon

The property was nice and the room was nice, however we booked the stay there based on the pool for the last nice weather weekend before school started. We arrived only to find that after 12:30pm the sun goes behind buildings for the rest of the afternoon and the entire pool and outdoor area is in complete shade for the rest of the day. The front desk said they had never heard this complaint, but the people coming up to deliver food to guests said it's a big issue.

Pro's: Convenient walk to all sites we wanted to visit. Front desk was very friendly/welcoming. Pool was an added bonus, staying in a major city. The valet parking was convenient and free with our stay. We loved having the small balcony with a view of the city area. The size of the room was large. Con's: We are pretty particular re: cleanliness and this wasn't the best. We ran out of toilet paper and it took an hour to get another role. Rooms could use updating.

Location was very central to most tourist attractions, staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment had everything you could need for a trip away, & free drinking water & ice was most welcome in the hot weather. Smart, clean accommodation with large comfortable bed, would definitely stay here again.
