Fun weekend

Hotel was nice and customer service was EXCELLENT. thought we were closer to the beach but wasn't too far away and was easy to get to . Lots of things to inside to get away for the sun

Room was decent, there were missing hall lights in my wing. Rooms don't get cleaned during the week so you will have to request it from the front desk. Doors to each room shut pretty hard and are loud so you can hear the rooms around you. Overall it wasn't that bad but I won't book again

Beware!

Does not look like any of the pictures. The room was extremely small. It was not as clean as it should have been. They advertise a pool, but no pool was open or had been used in forever, it looked like. I purposely booked due to the pool. The ice machine did not work. had to leave to purchase ice. stayed one night to pick up someone at the airport and will never stay again. Reviews said clean...it was not clean. I could not get into another hotel, so I had no choice but to stay. Beware!!

Doors were slamming all night long. Very noisy place. It’s hard to believe humans can be so noisy in a place full of guests trying to sleep. Bed was very uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved. Would not stay there again.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. Lin at the front desk was very helpful checking us in and answering all of our questions about the hotel's amenities. The room was spotless, and the bed comfortable. The pillows were very hard, tho. We would stay again and request additional pillows :}

Basic, very basic. Seems like a place where there are long term renters. Noticed guests setting up chairs in the parking lot near their car and smoking. Coffee offered in lobby only. This was the most reasonably priced hotel in Portsmouth for my overnight visit.

Staff was ok. Room was clean. There was a cigarette smell in the room at one point, not sure if it was someone in another room or maybe from the outside...but we were on the fourth floor. The shower made a loud whistling noise from no water pressure, the toilet flushed loudly and hard, the faucet water shoots out even when you try to just have it barely coming out. The beds are thin, cheap and very firm, and there are 2 pillows that are not comfortable...if you do decide to stay there maybe bring your own pillows at least. There is no "ac" its more of a dehumidifier...it only runs on low and dry. The outside and some people staying there are sketchy, there was police presence there across the parking lot at the church next door and other reviews have said the same things. There "is" an outside pool but it is not open nor taken care of it all. The only way of entering the building is from the front check out area, all other doors are exit only doors, most hotels you can enter and exit from every door with a key card...just made it a little inconvenient from the parking lot. Also, for any ladies staying there...there are no hair dryers in the bathrooms. There is an ice maker but appears to only be downstairs and also vending machine on the first floor. I would stay ther eonky if needed because you could do better elsewhere. The one positive is it is right off the highway...but 28 minutes from long sands beach in york, me.

Bare bones but ok for a 3 night stay

Its in a good area but cindition has gone downhill since the last timw I stayed there. May have new owners. Bare minimum of most things you come to expect. No hair dryer or tissues. Outlets didnt all work. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet which was really good. Parking was good. If you arent looking for luxuary, this is an ok place to stay. Since we arent in the room much, it was ok for the price.
