We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rome. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made our visit very comfortable. Its location is excellent—just a short walk from many of the city’s main attractions, making it easy to explore Rome on foot. The staff was outstanding: always friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Another highlight was the hotel’s proximity to a wide variety of excellent restaurants, which gave us the chance to enjoy authentic Roman cuisine right around the corner. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

This is a family run hotel. The communication from the time of booking onward was fantastic. The room was very clean, quiet and very safe. The location was perfect! It is a 10-20 min walk to all of the major sites. Both restaurants and stores were just steps away. I would highly recommend staying at the Golden Hotel.

Golden experience in Rome

Hotel Golden was a wonderful family run boutique hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative when answering our questions. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and attended to daily. We all received hugs from one of the owners when we left. Overall, our experience was a 10 out of 10!

This hotel has great service and the rooms are clean nice staff however they have a no guest policy and you have to ring a door bell to enter the building and after midnight you have to call them on WhatsApp to be let into the building which is kinda of annoying hopefully they fix this in the near future and the rooms are paper thin so you can hear your neighbours…beside that close to restaurants

Just returned from two weeks staying at this property and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome. Giuseppe and his family made us feel like part of the family. A quaint 15 room family run hotel in a great part of town just a 10 minute walk from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. More than a dozen restaurants within a 5 minute walk away, a coffee shop just outside the front door, a minute mart and a small grocery store just down the street. The hotel itself is on the quiet second floor of a building. The rooms were well furnished and required everything needed as a home base while touring Rome and other parts of the country for two weeks. Giuseppe and family always there with a smile and assisting with any question you may have. Our flight to come back to the U.S. was cancelled the evening before we were scheduled to return. As I frantically made arrangements to re-schedule our flight, and airport transportation, Giuseppe was amazing with extending our stay the additional night without even making us change rooms. His response with a smile was "No worries, I will take care of you". We knew we made the right choice by staying at Hotel Golden but that confirmed that there was no other place in Rome I would rather be than staying with Giuseppe and his family business. If you are looking for the hometown, family feel of Rome this is your place to stay. The people make the difference and Hotel Golden made us feel like family.

Stayed here for a few nights upon our arrival to Rome before taking the train to Florence. Hotel has the most amazing helpful staff unfortunately our luggage somehow didn’t make it to Rome with us. The hotel owner was so kind as to contact baggage claim for us and tried his best to help us find our luggage, we are checking out and headed to Florence without luggage but was so impressed with how amazing the staff at Hotel Golden are. I would stay here again simply for this fact… hotel was quiet, AC was amazing, cute clean room with all that was needed for a quick stay. Located within walking distance to Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, and a few plazas. Great coffee shop located below hotel on bottom floor.

The hotel in general is clean as well as the room. Enough towels and the bedding was comfortable. The TV had a lot of options of channels. The Hotel is an old building, so it has its charm, room is small and not too much sun light but again, clean. There IS NOT COFFEE anywhere in the hotel common areas nor in the room. The hair dryer is very old, it's ok to dry your hair BUT if you are looking to get a style you better bring your own. This hotel is family own, what I like, a lady received us, and she was nice. The other members were not very friendly, very serious and they didn't talk too much. Not even a smile. I guess because they live in the same building, they don't have a specific dress attire as regular hotel employees. The hotel is about 15min walk away from the major tourist attractions and activities in general, and if you are planning to walk to those places there is a lot of hills up and down, so be ready for a workout.
