The rating is reflective of our general travel experiences. It could be that for this price in Rome the hotel is good as well as the area, however from other experiences I would rate this as average. However, I would like to note that it was very nice of the hotel to upgrade us to a junior suite. The staff were adequate. Again, this may be that we are not used to the customs here. Nothing was particularly unpleasant, but nothing was above average either. A suggestion the the cleaning staff would be to use a little less fragrance, as it seeped into our clothing and we could smell it all day while exploring Rome.

La Residenza is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms and bathrooms very spacious and maintained to a high standard. The location in Ludovisi is superb, quiet but within steps of so much in Rome. Highly recommended by me!

The place is conveniently located, about a 15-minute walk from the Barberini subway station and the bus stop. It was extremely clean, well-maintained, and had very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent—definitely 5 stars—with multiple healthy options, all delicious and a great start to our day. We also appreciated the nearby water fountain, which made it easy to refill our bottles. Overall, we had a wonderful experience—thank you!

Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations. Made our visit to Rome even better. Staff was very helpful and made you feel welcome each and every time you entered. Breakfast was buffett style and beautiful. Restaurant was convenient and an easy option at the end of the day. Friendly staff. Hotel Location—Excellent Rooms were large and very comfortable.
