Had a few minor issues with our room but the staff compensated us with adjustments to our bill. Very much appreciated and the best hotel service I’ve had in a very long while.

My husband and I recently decided to spend a night at Hotel Valencia for a staycation. However, our experience was had several issues. Upon arrival, we encountered a long line at check-in and learned our room wasn't ready, leaving many guests, including us, waiting in the lobby. After checking in, we left our luggage at the front desk and were assured it would be delivered to our room. Due to the delays, we were not able to change our attire for our a prior reservation. We were promised a call when our room was ready, but we ultimately received that notification well past 6 PM. Upon our return to the hotel, we went to collect our keys, only to find our luggage still sitting at the check-in area with no staff available to help us. To make matters worse, the complimentary wine we were promised was missing from our room. Since this was a one-night stay, the lengthy check-in process was particularly frustrating, especially considering this was our second visit to the hotel; we had faced issues during our first stay but decided to give the hotel another try. At our first stay the management had reached out to us to address our concerns. However, this time there was no follow-up from management. Typically, we stay across the street at another hotel while visiting downtown for our regular outings, but we chose Hotel Valencia this time due to the renovations at our usual spot. Overall, the experience left much to be desired, and we were disappointed with the service.

This Hotel is so clean, beds are luxurious and so are the robes .The staff is very helpful, I did not know checkin was at 4pm, so we got there earlier but staff was very nice while we waited, even gave us a margarita while we waited . Our view was really great on the River
