Clean, comfortable, quiet and safe.

Basic room, bed was great, water pressure in shower was great, good amenities included in room (coffee, hair care, iron and ironing board). The location is good for public transport to all parts of the city you may want to see.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Can’t beat the price and free parking with what seems to be a good security system. The bed was so comfortable. Shower was hot and good pressure. Spacious room which was not the nicest but very very decent, but you aren’t gonna stay here if you are looking for 5 star hotel. It’s definitely a 5 star motel! Awesome location too with so much within walking distance.

I had a great experience at Castle Inn. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything fresh. Each room had a microwave, fridge, and reliable high-speed internet, which made my stay even more convenient. The property is located in a safe neighborhood, which added peace of mind. Overall, a solid and affordable choice—I’d definitely stay here again.

Would definitely recommend! Conveniently located to so many attractions that are walkable and if not, very near public transportation. Relatively quiet neighborhood and felt safe. Clean and comfortable, especially for the price!

Clean, but with flaws.

Room was pretty clean, which was a plus. The parking is not great. The bathroom itself is very small, so if youxre a larger person, you might want to try somewhere else. Walls are paper thin. I would try staying somewhere else next time but id goce this an ovet all 7.5.

Castle Inn was safe, clean and economical. Our only complaint was a wet towel was left on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that the room was very clean, it was safe and had free parking.

Great spot

great spot. would be walkable to any where if SF wasnt a collection of hills. cheap uber ride away from the wharf, china town, coit tower, and the coolest indie book store that will give you the eye if you ask for the hunger games....or any other "main stream" book.

A gem!

A little gem in the city! I'd keep this one to myself but it's too good not to share. Free parking in SF, ultra clean, a block from dining and stores, amazing shower, comfy beds. It is definitely for those who will spend most of the time sightseeing but still want a safe and comfortable place to recharge. It can be noisy but cities are noisy. If you're on a lower budget, stay here. Save money for experiencing the city.
