The room was average, but it was well “appointed” with a fridge, decent TV, and sitting/working space. The biggest problem was that it was very noisy (the outside noise was not even reduced, let alone blocked). I was constantly woken up during the night with all the noise. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, so thank you to all those I got to meet during my stay.

Very strong fragrance in room. Light fixtures and fans hard to operate. Paid for breakfast at time of booking via Expedia. It was not good. No hot cocoa for kids, quiche was old and crusty. We will not stay there again, although night staff was friendly to bring us a toothbrush and later on some toothpaste but kids were asleep by then so could not brush.

Good location easily walkable from the BART station and cable car terminus on Powell Street, easy to get around. Cold continental breakfast with option to purchase hot dishes. Room was on the small side but not unusual for city centre location. Overall a decent stay and would happily stay again
