So-so stay for the price

The basics were clean (toilets, counters, sinks), but then there was jelly and sticky stuff all over the refrigerator and popcorn and nuts inside the pullout couch, hair on the walls of the bathroom and dirty handprints on the walls. The first room we got appeared the dining table was not even washed and the fridge door handle had a big hunk of old jam on it. they moved us to another room, the fridge was still sticky in room 2. The space and layout was great for a family. We did not find the beds to be very comfortable. Would have been nice to be able to use the smart TV features (remote was limited) so we could watch a movie.

Our fireplace didn't work, Our TV didn't work, and the fridge made a loud noise off and on during the night. I told the front desk, but no apology or compensation was offered I guess it was just too bad for you. So, I doubt we will ever return to this hotel

The suites are very large and spacious. I appreciated the towel turn in service during our stay. The front desk went out of their way to assist my husband who was working while we were in Door County.

The room has an old or burnt smell in it. The smell was in all the rooms and on the bedding as well. The rooms were basic clean like spot cleaning but not a deep clean. It appears to not get cleaned often. We stayed in the same exact room we stayed in last year and it was the same condition. The patio is filled with dirt and spider webs so you cannot enjoy it. The rooms are dusty and have spider webs in the corners as well. The place is nice, small and appears family owned but a little more attention would do this place extremely well. Especially with it outdated and older resort/hotel.

The coffee pot took 45 minutes to make a pot of coffee. The living room could use a couple of blankets or throws to make it more cozy. We really enjoyed our time there though. The views from the rooms were beautiful! Very enjoyable atmosphere and we felt completely relaxed and safe.
