I like the heritage ambience of the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel in which to stay, staff are always courteous and happy to assist in any way they can. The location of the hotel is close to all CBD amenities, transport, shops, theatres and restaurants etc. It's always a joyful stay at the Fullerton Sydney.

The Fullerton is walking distance from a lot of areas (maybe not if you have mobility issues). I walked everywhere in my 3 day stay. Beds are comfy. Felt safe as a solo traveler. It’s an old post office that’s remade and I think they do tours. Be sure to check out Chinatown. I also noticed a lot of shops are under, like Hunter St/Place. Breakfast is free unless you want to order from the menu. It is okay.

The vanity basin is quite badly cracked and the waste needs to be lifted manually to empty the water out. I got a small cut on my finger trying to empty the basin - all other aspects of room 404 are excellent. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable and every staff member we came in contact with were wonderful. We didn’t report the basin as it really didn’t look like it had just happened so we assumed the hotel knew about it.

The hotel is well located, modern and with excellent helpful staff. There was a problem with the door key which didn’t work. I would like to give special praise to Po who is the receptionist at the Breakfast Room. Not only warm and welcoming but she remembered me and my granddaughter from a visit a month ago!! Great personal service and delighted my 5 year old that a “big person” would remember her. Well done Po. We’ll be back.

Loved the very large room, clean crisp bed linen, well stocked fridge and tea/coffee in room options, quietness. Shower cubicle needs a complete clean - namely grouting, floor and all corners had sediment which I removed with tissues

The upgrade was nice, I did pay for a buffet breakfast that included a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a late checkout… I didn’t receive the bottle and wasn’t given a late check out as per the deal…
