Painfully slow check in process (10-15 mins per visitor!?!), ineffective bluetooth speaker and a tablet that never connected to the web (so, no newspapers or access to housekeeping requests/taxis etc etc). This room cost and absolute fortune and these issues should have been resolved immediately.

We’ve stayed at the Fullerton a few times. This stay was consistent with other stays there. The rooms are large and clean, but I feel the rooms/bathrooms a getting a tiny bit worn/dated. This stay we had to move rooms due to the bass sound/loud music coming from the nightclub next to the hotel. The hotel was very accommodating and moved us immediately to a quieter room. Breakfast at this hotel is expensive and although the choice seems huge, the food itself is a bit average and I always come away thinking it wasn’t worth the hefty $50pp price tag. This trip they took a long time to seat us and the breakfast experience felt a bit too busy and manic for my liking. The location of this hotel can’t be beaten, and overall it is a great hotel. I can’t give it a full 5 stars only because I feel it just misses the mark of a 5 star hotel.

The staff are terrible Our room did but have a working tv which I would have told the staff if they engaged at all. The person checking us in was perhaps new - they did not engage in any conversation and then sent us to L6 instead of L26 , which after flight delays at 10pm at night is the last thing you want. When waiting in the lobby I started talking to another guest who made the observation that it seemed the guests were an inconvenience to staff , she’d had also experienced the poor customer service. I contrast this to the staff I encountered since my Fullerton stay on Disney cruise line and another hotel chain in Brisbane , the difference is Rhys prompted my to take the time to provide feedback on the poor level of customer service at Fullerton.
