Location! Location! If you’re travelling alone and you want a place close to a main station like Shibuya, I would recommend this place. The room is small and appliances like TV are outdated. Very convenient location, literally steps from a metro entrance.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Worried it may be busy with the younger crowd but it was very quiet. Location is great for the subway and walking. Carpets were a bit worn and baseboards could use a painting but the bathroom areas were very clean and good amenities available. Would stay here again if we came to Shibuya.

The room was overall good. The bathroom is a little strange as it is glassed in. So you can see the shower from the bed. The location is really great. It’s walking distance to some great areas and just across the way from Shibuya station. There is a great little coffee bar near the lobby. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the Shibuya crossings. Very center of Shibuya area. Lots of food restaurants nearby the hotel. Overall it was a nice hotel. Expect rooms to be small.

Small, efficient, clean room in Shibuya steps from the Metro. Halls seem dark but perfectly fine and safe. Friendly front desk staff with luggage storage available. Price a little high compared to similar sized rooms in Tokyo but the location may be the reason as it is excellent.

We’ve stayed at Shibuya Granbell Hotel twice already and always loved our standard King size room. Once we even stayed at the Penthouse with double level and it was great. This time we came for one night, we were on a stop over from Kyoto to Hong Kong, and we booked a premium room, and it was the worst so far. The bed was really bad, we were not able to rest properly before our trip, the room seems is tuck in some corner of the building so there is no view and really bad floorplan. The bathroom sink wasnt swallowing water… If we didn’t pay extra for a bigger and supposedly better room i wouldn’t mind, but since this was supposed to be better, we are quite surprised with the condition of the room. Really sad to have to write this but this room needs lots of love and upgrades.
