Convenient and Cute

Wonderful hotel near the bus drop off area. We didn’t have to travel far with our suitcases. Check in was super easy, the front desk personnel were all very friendly. Obviously the hotel itself will be older but it was very charming. It was about 10 min walk to the tourist part of the city but still so worth the stay.

Great hotel for transport links

The hotel was quite difficult to find (as most hotels in Venice are!) on a dark, wet January night. Staff were helpful, room was clean and comfortable and the location was handy for the transport links. The breakfast was disappointing however.

Avoid it

I tried to cancel my reservation, made with Hotels.com, as my work appointment was cancelled. Hotels.com correctly replied that they would ask the hotel if it was possible not to apply the penalty, equal to the cost of the reservation. The hotel refused and, even after a phone call, they were of no help. I lost my money and the hotel cannot claim that it was for Hotels.com responsibility. I will have to return to Venice, mainly for work, but I will certainly avoid this hotel. Zero unfortunately is not possible...

Great location for train

Nice hotel on small private piazza only a 20 minute walk from the train station. You have to cross the bridge over Grand Canal so if you have heavy luggage find a porter. Bargain for a rate to just cross canal. It is all stairs. Hotel arranged for a porter from hotel to station. Good service. Good morning breakfast also. Worth the 10 euro.

Friendly, very helpful staff

We had a lovely stay. The room was quite nice, if a little down at the heels. Small, but all hotel rooms in Venice are small. Space is at a premium! Very comfortable though, and quiet! A/C excellent. The bathroom was very good. We really appreciated the staff. Everybody was great, friendly and very helpful to Americans who do not speak a word of Italian! Also, the breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.
