I know it’s Venice and old & beautiful! It definitely was! Just wish we could have had a coffee maker in our room especially with early tours! Didn’t even have coffee available in lobby until their breakfast was ready! I need coffee when I wake up! The safe lock broke and we had to call front desk! The man broke it open ! Thank God because we put our passports in there! The refrigerator did not work at all! The rooftop bar was so much more expensive than any other eateries in Venice! It was so hot in room! Air conditioning didn’t work! We were told because it’s October and winter was here! Not for us! The positive it was close to all!

Carlton on the Grand Canal, has a very friendly team, specially Tudor on the Front desk, who was extremely patient and helpful with his recommendations and options for the area/transport. Rooms are clean, spacious and bright. Convenient location, across from the Main station and vaperetto stop. Roof top restaurant is amazing !! Express Bus available for Marco Polo International Airport, within 5 minutes walk. We were very happy.

Perfect hotel in front of the canal with a lot of transportation options. This property is close to the train ststion, bus station and uber. Also you can take a water taxi in front of the property. They have restaurant and a rooftop bar that can also serves food... The view from the rooftop is stunning facing the canal. They offer breakfast and it was great. Very close to restaurants and shop... The hotel has elevators and the rooms decor are perfect for Venice... Very Victorian style. Love it! Highly recommend

I would love to stay in this area, good food which centre of Grand canal? But The room of the hotel where I stayed it’s horrible when you have shower the water is smashing everywhere because it’s just curtains on by the shower bed is horrible and they don’t even change bed sheets I asked for twin bed well it is twin bed but one only headboard so you can’t split. I have a lot of mosquito bites.in the advert is look very inviting in the room Reality The room is horrible. And every time I need to go to my room, I need to walk all the way at the back out and then in I I would never go back again with the hotel actually the room that they gave us is for disability people
