Mooons is a lovely hotel located not far from Vienna main station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room, although small, was very clean. Personally I would have liked a chair in room as visitors have to sit on bed. It was a great base to get around all the attractions and Xmas markets.

Seemed like every time we came or left the hotel someone was complaining about something in their room breaking. Our shower leaked into the washroom but hotel was not able to change rooms during our trip, also heard of guests saying heating did not work.

The hotel itself was very clean. It’s in a great area, walking distance to lots of amazing places. Very safe. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was the lack of reception area for if you had any questions or needed help, no phone in the room to call down if you needed help. Otherwise hotel is great, breakfast was good, location was amazing.

Absolutely spotless room, left a note and free chocolates for my girlfriend’s birthday. Gave us vouchers for free drinks if we chose to skip housekeeping for the day. Really cool place and lovely decoration. Absolutely lovely hotel in a lovely city. Will definitely be my go to when i return!

We really enjoyed our week here at the end of October. The proximity to the main train station worked for us as we toured around Austria and other cities in Europe on day trips. The tram into the inner stadt was close by and it was a small matter of minutes to our Vienna destinations. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff super friendly and supportive. We didn't eat at the hotel but occasionally had a drink at the bar. We had a roadside room but couldn't hear the traffic. I had read that some reviewers found the rooms too small, we had a standard and it was ample big enough with lots of storage etc. Our only small issue was we found the room a little too warm at times even with aircon on but this wouldn't stop us from recommending this hotel to anyone who reads this review. Perfect hotel for those who plan to be on the move especially.

Lovely hotel! The rooms look a bit unusual online but turned out to be very comfy and cozy. Excellent cleanliness and attentive staff. The breakfast could use more variety and it’s a real shame the rooftop closes in September. They even have rooftop yoga during the summer!
