We stayed during January. The room was drafty - as a result the heat needed to be increased so high it was uncomfortable and dry. There was only one thin blanket on each bed and only one light extra blanket though there were two beds. The room had a funny smell and there were many dead bugs in the light fixtures. In the winter, the nice outdoor areas aren’t usable and there was no common area. Room was spartan. Despite the snow, there was no mat or shoe rack in the room and so it was impossible not to drag in salt and mud on boots. People with mobility limitations would have trouble walking down the outdoor stairs to the room in the winter. Would expect more from a 3 star hotel. Probably better for a summer stay.

After reading reviews I was pleasantly surprised of the high quality of our room. We had a premium king room in the river house. Was large and bathroom was also large with a jacuzzi tub, shared balcony overlooking the river. Walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. Only stayed one night for a wedding in town but overall had a very good experience!

Upon entering the hotel, the lobby is gorgeous with 2 fireplaces. Staff was super friendly and the free breakfast was a bonus. The room was spotless and has a fireplace in the room. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely go back.

Great location, walking distance to downtown Woodstock and there’s a grocery store across the street. Parking was easy and we loved the fire pits in the back at night. Room was spacious but felt a bit dated and dirty. Other than that it was great for a fall weekend in Woodstock.
