Great Location

We stayed here for a long weekend retreat and it was exactly what we expected. The hotel is in the heart of Old Town/Alstad and close to restaurants and shops. It was also a walkable distance to the lake and the main train station.

This was my third visit to the charming Hotel Adler Zürich. I love the convenience of being in the middle of the Old Town and very close to tram routes. Excellent buffet breakfast in attractive dining room. It is probably worth mentioning that major services replacement work is being carried out in the square outside the Hotel and work starts very early on work days--but the weekend was very quiet. Fortunately the excellent double glazing really helped to reduce the building noise considerably ! The work seemed to be progressing quickly and should be completed soon in the immediate area. I loved my return visit to Hotel Adler Zürich and look forward to my next visit in the near future.

This hotel is located in very convenient location and all the hotel staffs are amazing. Stayed at family room with balcony. Love listening to hourly bells from balcony was quite a memory from the hotel. After we left, we got a message from hotel that they found out lost property and now it’s on its way back to Australian home. And I should say the restaurant became really popular Swiss fondue restaurant at dinner time. Didn’t know so many different fondue options available. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well. It was amazing stay here :)

All around perfect

Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning and 1 night at the end of my Switzerland trip that began an ended from Zurich. Fantastic location, walkable to many attractions, restaurants and shopping as week as Zurich HB, metro and business. Staff were helpful and nice, breakfast was delicious. Perfect hotel, would stay again.

We found the character of the property great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is a lovely area in old town, not that close for trains ect especially in the rain but we had Christmas markets right out the front door and plenty of dining options. Staff were helpful organising airport transfers and with local recommendations for sightseeing.

A charming place in a great location for Zurich HB, the main shopping area and of course the old town- where it’s situated. Nearly everything felt walkable from the hotel. Room was clean with charming touches. Loved the painted murals on lots of the walls. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful continental-style and is in the same venue as the hotel’s evening restaurant, which serves great traditional Swiss food- lovely decor and ambience to the place. Loved my stay!

Excellent hotel with a storied history that goes back centuries. The hotel is the heart of Old Town, just steps from everything. Great staff, great service, and the adjoining restaurant is the most popular fondu and raclette restaurant in town! Our family very much enjoyed our stay in beautiful Zurich. Thank you, Hotel Adler! One warning: all the retail shops -without exception - are closed on Sundays! Only the cafes and restaurants remain open. For shopping, this is a Monday-Saturday town.

Loved the free water and cookies every day. We stayed in the family room which was perfect. We asked for a room refrigerator which was delivered in a few hours. We had to cut our trip short due to illness and the staff went above and beyond. Would stay again and strongly recommend.
