Well done to Hovell Tree team in Albury

Loved that we could do our laundry - free! Also, everything was above expected standards; it’s reassuring that all the things a traveller needs is provided. We also ate in the bistro and found it good value and the food excellent - well done to the kitchen team there. Also appreciated the friendly helpful staff.

From the moment I walked into The Best Western Hovell Tree Inn...to the moment I left, everything was wonderful! A quiet and most enjoyable overnight stay here...thank you! 🙂 Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet...something I had requested and happily fulfilled! All staff there were friendly, courteous and ever so obliging...thank you! Food in the bistro/bar was very enjoyable, although very slow. Bar staff friendly and very obliging too! 🙂 I highly recommend staying here and I thank all the staff for their friendly and helpful demeanour. 🙏

Surprised/a bit taken back that our room was not fully serviced once during our 5 night stay (Thursday prior to Easter with checkout on Easter Tuesday). On arrival, information in room advised no service on Sundays or public holidays, which was not advised when booking online. Despite this I still expected the room to be fully serviced on the Saturday, which as far as I know is not a Public Holiday. NB there was no reduction in the nightly rate or additional amenity offered to compensate for this lack of service. Despite this we would stay again, but be mindful of the above. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed.

This is a great place to stay. Waling distance to main street but quite and across from the Murray River and park. Have used this hotel many times and will in the future.

Always a pleasant stay

As always, clean and comfortable room and friendly staff. We use this Best Western whenever we pass through Albury. This time we did need to ask a staff person to come and clean the balcony table but that was done promptly and with good grace. We never have any complaints.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, kitchen, which is great to have this part of a hotel with restaurant, pool, etc. walking distance to parks, pool, botanic gardens and shops. Restaurant food was nice, just a little expensive. Service in restaurant and bar exceptional. Parking easy.
