The owners of this property were amazing, prepared a delicious breakfast, helped us out with transportation, very thoughtful and helpful. Really made our stay in Amalfi, much more magical. The view with balcony was breathtaking, and we got to explore other areas that are more authentic and reasonable, than Amalfi central Thank you for your hospitality

Angela and Emelio were amazing hosts. When we arrived, Angela brought homemade cake and juice to our room. And every morning she made amazing homemade breakfast fresh to order. The view from the rooms are unbelievable, and I would highly recommend staying here. It is off the beaten path, but the nearby restaurant offers shuttle service to and from the hotel. Five stars!

My family and I loved the owners of the property Emilio and Angela. Always attentive to our needs and more. Explained areas we could visit and helped keep costs low regarding transportation and restaurants that served excellent local cuisine without the Amalfi prices. I would recommend Solaria for any single person, couple or family with short or extended stays. We have travelled much in our lives and met many hoteliers or managers. Emilio and Angela have taken their service/establishment to a great place. Cant say enough good things but will conclude with just PERRFECT

Italy Trip

The room was amazing. It overlooked the sea and had its own balcony area which you could sit out in. The hotel is own by an Italian family that live on the site and we’re very helpful with anything we needed. From information about the local area to recommendations on places to visit and a free transfer to a local restaurant. The breakfast provided with the room was incredible. Would highly recommend this hotel. The only improvements I would make would be to replace the shower head within our room as it would sometimes not stay in place when having a shower. And the photos I have added are not of how we found the room upon check in and were before we left the room to check out.

I love the peace and quiet. The view was immaculate. I love that the hosts prepare breakfast for you fresh, daily and tasty pastries. I love how available everything was the only downfall, I wish the shuttle runs more than once or had more than one shuttle. If you miss the shuttle, you’re out of luck unfortunately. It is hard to catch the bus. Be sure to have a taxi driver number on standby. Other than that, my friend and I absolutely loved it. Great place to sleep, and everything was comfortable.

Shuttle service to Amalfi town by the hotel and bus service frequently into town and back and night. Views were stunning and so tranquil and peaceful. Had the most amazing time.

Solaria is a wonderful place to experience the beauty and hospitality of Amalfi. It is first class. Specifically Emilio and Angela have created a beautiful bed and breakfast on the Amalfi hills full of gardens, comfortable beds, clean, airy and serene. The pool felt so good in the warm sun. Angela and her assistant are exceptional cooks- breakfast is delicious with the freshest of Italian ingredients. Solaria provided us a free shuttle to downtown Amalfi for shopping and any sea excursion we desired. Emilo and Angela are attentive to their guests needs but allow for privacy as well. They are excellent hosts. Close by is a delicious restaurant, El Niño, and the owner will drive you there and back. We highly recommend staying at Solaria and hope to return again in the years to come. Blessings always to Solaria.

Best start to our honeymoon!

This was the perfect way to start our honeymoon in Italy. Angela and Emilio are the kindest couple and truly love hosting. We felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived until we left. You will depart from Solaria dreaming about Angela's breakfast! Definitely a highlight of our two-week trip. She even left us cake in our room one day when we weren't able to get breakfast due to an early start ... literally the sweetest! The town is about a 20-minute walk but worth going to - just make sure you wear comfy shoes and are prepared for some stairs. :) I can't wait to return to Solaria!

100/10!!! This place was INCREDIBLE! The views, the rooms, the owners, everything was exceptional. My partner and I traveled to 7 cities in Italy and this place was by far our favorite, not because of the town but because of this hotel! The owners are very hands on, very polite and accommodating, and the included morning breakfasts were AMAZING! They offer the shuttle service daily down to the town so you get to stay up in the quiet mountains with beautiful views while also getting to experience the downtown area during the day. I couldn't recommend this place more - thank you Solaria for such a wonderful experience!!!

Amazing experience. If you want to experience what it is to stay with a local family from Amalfi this is the place. The host Emilio and Angela are really kind people. Angela makes the best Italian cakes and cooks you the best breakfast with all the best local ingredients. The rooms are pretty luxurious. I would definitely recommend this place

Amazing experience at the Solaria B&B The hosts are absolutely lovely and the hotel is away from all the cities' chaos. Very quiet beautiful view, access to pool and spa. Our favorite stay in our honeymoon to Italy. The hotel is quite far away from the city (20-30 minute drive) and there is not a large amount of buses available (one at 11h30 am), so longer stays or those without cars may find it difficult to move around.

Believe the reviews! This place was awesome. The host were the sweetest and so helpful. We didn’t have a car and as the listing says, it’s a little ways from the city center, they helped us with the bus (which was easy) and even a personal driver to pick us up. Great breakfast, great room, amazing service.

We were looked after like royalty here ! Angela is just the most incredible lady - worth the trip just to meet her and sample her cakes. There can’t be a better lemon drizzle cake on the planet ! Be prepared to put on a pound or two !!
