Canal View Room is Awesome

Good location a block from the tram to from Central Station. Room was large, comfortable and the canal view was amazing. Staff is friendly. Only downside is that the Wi-Fi sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a hotspot so worked around connectivity issues.

It was very convenient to all the major sights and attractions. It is right on the Amstel River. The hotel is quiet and clean with a number of dining options at all price points nearby; including a well stocked supermarket, Albert Heijn about 200m away out the back door, with premade breakfast, lunch and dinner to grab and go if you'd just like to save some money and eat in your room. I already recommended the hotel to two friends who are going to Amsterdam in April.

Great hotel in excellent location

Really excellent boutique hotel in a great central location to see around Amsterdam. The Eden Hotel was really comfortable with excellent quality in the Executive room we stayed in. No external noise at night although close to some lively parts of bars and restaurants. Excellent service and help form all the lovely staff in the hotel. Would highly recommend and certainly would stay again if we go back to Amsterdam. We did not eat in hotel (buffet breakfast) so can't comment but there are other excellent options near by.
It doesn't appear very large on the frontage but inside is much larger and all the way through the block.

Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not many alternatives out for vegans or lactose intolerant but just ask staff. Would definitely stay again.

Great area, nicely out the way of the business but very easy walk into the town (around 15/20mins). The entrance to the hotel and all of downstairs was lovely, modern and clean. Unfortunately the good ends there. The cleanliness of the room was absolutely terrible; awful smell in there, black mould all around the shower, thick layer of dust on every surface, bed had hairs and bits of dirt all over (actually wondered if it had even been changed). Disappointing after a good first impression on entering. Massive let down. Would not stay again.

Good location if you want to be close enough to walk into centre but a good enough distance away from the noise and bustle of the city centre. Rooms were quite small and shower had black mould. Very dusty. Good bar, shop and use of pool table for free. Staff were friendly and helpful if you needed them. Complimentary water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and chocolate bars in rooms was nice.

Eden Hotel is a gem in Amsterdam. We loved our stay very much! We flew into AMS, took the train to Central Station and walked about 20 mins or so to the hotel which is right on one of the canals. The lobby is extremely modern, filled with various plants and very warm which was nice (as we visited recently in the winter months). It was VERY cold outside so we were always happy to get back to the hotel after a long day of exploring and walking around! It's so centrally located, closest to Rembrandt Square but Dam Square is a very short walk away as well. One other thing I'd like to mention is their water pressure is insane, I don't think I've experienced that at a hotel before. The beds were so comfortable! We stayed in one of the rooms that had the wallpaper / blue corset image behind the bed... in comparison to our friends room, we were on the upgraded side of the building so I'd keep that in mind when booking! You cannot go wrong with this hotel. I'd absolutely stay here again!

Really great hotel, in a great spot. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was lovely. Only thing that could improve for us was the size of the bath towels, for a 4 star hotel I’d have expected a bit better quality there, but this really was the only thing I didn’t like.

All was good but the heater in the room and the cleaning. They made the bed but under the sheets was my hair band and ear pods. So they just thru the sheets over it? They didn’t vacuum the room either nor clean the coffee station.
