Lovely hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring the city. The rooms are a *little* small, but it's a minor complaint as they are clean and comfy and the bathroom is a decent size and lovely as well. Well worth the price.

I stayed here as a solo traveler, and felt safe and comfortable. Staff were super friendly, and there are multiple forms of public transportation in walking distance. Major tourist destinations, like the Anne Frank House was no more than 25min walking distance. I would stay here again. Only note is that they do not have typical toiletries you’d find in USA hotels- so be prepared to pack wash cloths or lotion.

Excellent service and location

The staff are lovely, the breakfast was brilliant, they accommodated when we arrived early as our flight got us in early morning, great location, comfortable rooms and great sized bathrooms. Would come back here again.

Great hotel

Hotel was in a great location, it seemed everytime we ent somewhere it was only a 20 min walk away ☺️ Staff were very helpful and polite and hotel was extremely clean with a fantastic reception and bar area. Only downside, & I’m not sure if it only because we were on on the 6th floor, but the WiFi wasn’t very good. Other than that great hotel and I would stay there again.

Quiet Hotel stay

Nice quiet neighbourhood, but a good 25 minute walk to any of the sights. Hotel not quite as nice as the Rotterdam Motel 1, but lovely staff and nice and clean

Staff were friendly and patient (when I forgot my pin number & was having issues with payment) and even asked if we wanted rooms on a higher floor. Rooms were spotless and well maintained with modern styling. Hotel was in an excellent location - less than 5 minutes to Waterlooplein metro station. Area felt safe and was well lit night being on a main road but quiet enough once in the room. Drinks from the hotel bar were great and not overly expensive. Could also leave our luggage after check out which was handy to continue seeing the sights of the city. Would definitely return to Motel One when returning to Amsterdam
