This is a great property within walking distance to everything. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars was the need for paint and an update to the bathrooms.

Relaxing Trip

I’ll never stay anywhere else when I’m Apalachicola. For a couple with different sleep habits it’s worth the little extra money to have a bedroom separate from the living area, a kitchen and such a relaxing screened patio on the river to relax at while waiting for them to wake up!

I was somewhat disappointed after checking in on the first floor. The room looked as if it had had water damage in numerous areas, especially the floor in the living room as all the varnish was gone in that area. The master bathroom had rust in the corner of the tub and the ceiling looked as if there was water damage. It finally came to me that this hotel had most likely had water damage during Hurricane Michael. Most of the damage looks as if it had been repaired with the exception of the things I mentioned. Our accommodations were large and clean. If we stay there again I would want a room on an upper floor

The room was relatively clean but VERY OUTDATED. Dish washer was dirty, lack of utensils, no instructions on how to operate TV in main room, concern with cats lingering around the property. Wish we had a different room.

Loved the area, love the room and where it was and just having what we needed. However, ants everywhere, which is something that can be remedied. We will of course go back. It’s perfect for walking and relaxing in the area. Loved it .

The property is very nice. The only thing was I was charged more for my room after I had checked out. No one said anything to me they just changed all of the charges and inflated the price of the stay after I had left. I felt this was unfair.

This is a great property to walk downtown and shop around. With some close great restaurants to visit for dinner and lunch. We love this town and how small it is and less crowded. Would have liked the pool to be heated since it was too cold to get in during this time of year. The kitchen is nice but did not have everything needed to cook meals it is more for reheating food or just having donuts or coffee. The front office staff was great and answered all my questions. I would definitely staff here again

Beautiful place

The rooms are huge and everything is really nice. Absolutely love the balcony for my morning coffee. Only negative I have is the sheets were terrible. The fitted sheet had the little nubs of old cheap sheets which is my pet peeve and the bathroom towels were old and worn
