A great place to stay. Hoid to have 2 separate bedrooms. Extremely welcoming and accommodating. Value for money. Would highly recommend.

Great place for a stop over in Auckland

Our stay overnight was on the way from Rotorua to the Bay of Islands, and was excellent for one night. The managers were friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size and the spa bath was very clean and it was relaxing to have a spa bath after a big day out. The motel was on a main road which could put people off, but it didn't worry us. The city centre was not too far away.

Check in and out is always straight forward and easy. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

There are two restaurants right across the street, a convenience store attached to a gas station close by. We ate at an amazing Thai place Onzon de 5 mins walk away. (Highly recommend) free parking off street was fantastic. Check in and check out super simple. Air conditioner was great and quiet. Loved that there was a microwave and fridge and dishes ect. The room is a bit worn but super clean and the bed was comfortable. I have no complaints! The price was perfect. The shower was fantastic. I’d come again.

We liked the neighborhood Ponsonby a lot, full of cafes shops and restos and lovely views. The room was small but sufficient, and set up as a longer term rental with dishes and cutlery, small fridge and microwave, bathroom toiletries, etc. Large tv as well with Netflix and other media. However, not so clean dark brown carpet and no other colour or design made the room look a little dowdy. Needs a refresh and a better mattress. But the sheets were clean, towels fresh and a decent price for a more upscale neighborhood.

Very happy to recommend this motel. It is convenient for motorways, harbour and city. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Room was well kitted out with all necessary facilities. Secure off street parking is a bonus.

Always come back to Abaco when staying in Auckland. Sheryl and the team are beyond friendly, the are fabulous. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and the location cannot be beaten - easy walk to shopping, cafes and restaurants , or onsite parking if you have a car. Great stay as always. We will absolutely be back in a few months. Thanks.

Beautiful getaway

Romantic, beautiful apartment near city center. Best room is the top floor end apartment overlooking Harbour Bridge and sky tower. Thank-you for a lovely 3 night stay

Great place to stay.

Excellent apartment with a superb host in Sheryl who went out of her way to accommodate us. Easy access to Auckland centre. Only minor blip was the smoking seat for room 18 was right next to our back door (single glass panel)-we could hear regular coughing and chair scraping! Perhaps we were just unlucky.
