In a town without many hotel options the Blanco River Hotel is stellar. I could not believe the size of the room. The pool is very nice with nice evening lighting and a waterfall. The breakfast is also better than most and unusual to be included in a hotel this nice. So close to town square with many great choices for food. Also the Blanco river is a minute away and a great place to visit.
waterfall is a nice addition to the pool.
Hotel is recently renovated and well maintained.
Breakfast served in the morning and the bar is open on weekends.
The hotel has a "Texas Ranch Boutique" vibe.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the facility was clean and tidy, the breakfast was good, and filling. The location is central to a lot of things to do in Blanco.

I didn't like that there was no ice, but I understand that they're requiring boiling water because of the floods. I DID like that they were quick with the check-in, the room was clean and spacious.

Great Girls Weekend Amidst Tragedy

My girlfriends decided to go to the hill country weeks ago and decided Blanco was to be the destination. We loved our stay in Blanco and will definitely be back in a couple of months. Unfortunately, the hill country experienced devastating loss due to catastrophic floods during our stay, but our hotel was safe and comfortable. Everyone kept us informed about the situation (the area was placed on boil water notice and we were given as much bottled water as we needed). The manager, Grace, and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The AC in the room was cold, the beds were comfy and shower was excellent. Breakfast was good but wished there was a little more variety. Other than that, it was a great trip. Our thoughts and prayers to those families grieving their family members and friends lost in the flood.

The Hotel was super clean the rooms are spacious. The staff was phenomenal, they were very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Front desk person was always polite and helpful. Housekeeping is another subject. Asked for maid service, when we got back the sheets were just thrown over the bed. Only thing done was trash was emptied and towels I put in pile by the door. My moms room had same issues. We spent 3 nights here. Floors were never vacuumed or cleaned. Or beds were never made. Property is well kept otherwise.
