I had to go get my own sheets from the front desk to change the bedding after my 2 year old had an accident. Then, I had to change the bed, and bring up the spoiled linens as I was told there is no housekeeping. We've never stayed at a hotel before that has not offered any kind of housekeeping, even just dropping off towels or sheets for us! And we requested them during normal hours (10.30 in the morning, and then had to come again after we got back from the parks because no new linens or towels were dropped off as we were told they would "try".) Also, there is no additional lock on the doors, just the one by the knob. Usually hotel doors are super heavy and auto shut, but this door was very light weight and would stay open, and with no separate lock, our two year old actually ran out multiple times! We had to stack chairs in front of the door. The only redeeming quality of this place is the shuttle to and from SDC. I would not stay here again. It's a glorified multi unit motel that uses the name "resort".

It was awful from the get-go! We have stayed several times with our service dog that is a chihuahua and it was always ok. I booked it in advance, drove over 2 hrs, checked in and was told it was ok to have our dog but they would call when the room was ready. They did, we went to get the key, and was met with a different woman who said we couldn’t stay because she was an ESA well she was before making her a service dog but this woman gave us an ultimatum either board the dog out or get a refund! In front of other employees who didn’t care and even the other guests were shaking their heads so we what to try to find a room! We will NEVER be back!

Very quiet and feels safe in that area. Our room was comfortable & clean. Parking lot is easily accessible and clean. The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable about the different events going on at the resort. We literally walked a short distance to the food trucks down the street & stopped by the park. Just a great atmosphere & we will return guaranteed!
