Spotless, very quiet, black out curtains. Comfy beds. Free breakfast with the usuals. Not gourmet but free: scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, waffles, juice etc bold coffee! No complaints. Efficient check in. Provided snow scrapers for our car.

We stayed here twice - on the way to Toronto and on the way back. All-in-all, the hotel was great, bedrooms and bathrooms clean, friendly staff, great location (across the street from the airport), wonderful breakfast, airport shuttle ... all good! When we checked in late night for our first stay, the room had a running toilet that wasn't working (I checked the stopper in the water tank). The young lady at the front desk said maintenance would fix it in the morning. I said that's unacceptable - she should just move us to another room. She said she wasn't "allowed to do that, the hotel was full, and there was no housekeeping available". What? I won't bore you with our back-and-forth, but she eventually called someone and moved us into another room, which was fine and awesome (even though she said she didn't have any free rooms available). This is not a complaint about the hotel, but rather a comment about the business risk the hotel would take by placing a young, inexperienced and perhaps poorly trained receptionist on the front desk by herself. The hotel is great and I would book to stay here again.

I usually give reviews with one eye partially closed. But our experience during our stay created a memory we’d rather forget. At 4:30 am we were started awake by a fire alarm. Of course, this is a terrifying experience when at home, but at a hotel it’s a different kind of nightmare. My husband and I dutifully put our coats over our night clothes and hurried down 5 flights of stairs along with the rest of the bleary eyed residents. Once we found our way to the lobby we discovered an employee in a bit of a panic. Apparently, a man from outside the hotel came in and pulled the fire alarm because he said someone was going to kill him! If this wasn’t bad enough, being Buffalo it was snowing and freezing outside. We were asked to walk across the parking lot to the CourtYardMarriots lobby!! Long story shortened… the fire department took over 20 minutes to arrive and NO ONE could figure out how to properly shut off the alarms. We were exhausted after our trip and from the non sense so we chose to scrape the ice from our car, thaw it out instead of returning to the building. After waiting in the car for a half an hour we were told we could come back inside. Reluctantly we did so. Up the elevator we went and found our way back to the room when…. Whah whah the alarm came back on!! I packed our bags and told my husband I wanted to drive home. Bottom line: the night staff was untrained. Handled the dangerous situation carelessly and did not consider how it affected each of us.

The cleaning crew need to clean underneath the beds because we found a green pill under the bed,the hot tub was ok but I do think it should be cleaned more often with a solution that is very effective on keeping dirt&body fluids out of the hot tub more better.

The hot tub and pool area were great! To be fair on the breakfast area there was a group of school kids there on a trip and they kept us from fully accessing breakfast area. The shower in our room could have been cleaner and water leaked out under the shower door

When we first got to our room, there were VERY, VERY LOUD people, two rooms down. And I mean rude, crude and obnoxious!! We were first concerned that this was a welfare hotel. However, the staff was very apologetic and moved us to the other end of the hotel. Also, they seemed to put an end to the noise, because we never heard a peep again, for our six-day stay. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The room was always clean. Shower was a little slow to respond to temp changes but that was just by design; as the head was on one end of the stall and the control on the other. It was always hot, night or day. Breakfast was good. You could have anything from a yogurt and a banana, to eggs and bacon. Be healthy or not; your choice. Other than the initial shock of noise, I have nothing bad to say about this place!
