This place is perfect, and the staff are great! Get a vintage hoteling experience in a clean room with modern touch. The vintage part is the Victorian era wooden floors, doors, and trim, screen door to a shared balcony overlooking the main street in Calistoga, plus carrying your bags up the stairs (no elevator), and sharing the bathroom with other guests (no in-room restroom or shower) -- just like you would have if you were traveling 100 years ago when this hotel was new. The modern part is comfortable beds, chic bedding, in-room sink/mirror, outlets, and free wifi. This is a 5-star place with 3-star prices due ONLY to the shared restrooms. Highly recommend, have stayed twice, would stay again.

Our stay at the Calistoga Inn was wonderful. It was our second time staying. Our private cottage was clean, modern, and full of charm. It was conveniently located and was just as advertised. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area and we will definitely be back

I stay at the Inn, and can definitely say it is not good. It is WONDERFUL! We are right in the "eye of the hurricane" for an afordable price. Be careful what you wish for. It is going to happen. Marcelo P.S. I am from San Francisco and we know there is not affordable places around us. This is a gem.

All around poor experience. Staff was not friendly. Bed was old and not comfortable. The restaurant service was awful. Sat for 15 minutes with no menu and then a waiter trying to take our order. Ordered drinks and another 15 minutes nothing. We walked out. Cute town with a good vibe. Don’t recommend staying here.

Parking can be a problem with no lot, only street parking in residential area. Both restrooms have loose toilet seats which can be a hazard. Men's sink drain runs very slow. Most everything else seems clean. They are upfront about parking issues & stairs only access to all 2nd floor rooms. Great food at restaurant with nice outdoor dining area. Walking to shopping is great if you like shopping! Stayed 10/18/25 night.

We stayed in the standalone cottage with its own private courtyard and would highly recommend that option. We were disappointed that the unit did not include even a refrigerator. It can be very noisy in the middle of the night between Sunday and Monday when all the garbage trucks, street cleaners, and morning deliveries are happening at the same time. That's out of control of the property but is notable.

The blinds need to be replaced, curtains would help soften the room, a mini fridge in the room would be nice, & help bringing my luggage up/down the stairs would’ve been top noch. Staff was nice & food was really good. A solution to the parking needs to be done. One of the restaurant staff members mentioned that the staff usually uses the street parking and customers have to hunt for parking and move their car when the restaurant closes & the staff goes home.

Cute spot in a great location!

Great location!!! Connected to the brewing company which has fantastic food and good music. The cleaning ladies were on it daily with fresh towels, making the bed, and fresh ear plugs! Beds were comfy! The shared bathroom was clean and never busy!

Cozy Euro-style gem in north Napa

The hotel office off to the side of the building had lovely greeters and an easy check-in process. The stairs up to the second floor were well-maintained and gave a bit of a workout when toting luggage (this building does NOT have an elevator). Clean, crisp bedsheets and well-dusted drawers greeted us as we walked through our room door. The shared bathrooms were clean, stocked with shampoo/body wash, and had extra towels. The only negative in our opinion is the walls are a bit thin in this older building; we could hear some satisfied guests coming in after wine tours in the evenings, but after all it's wine country!
