The property was nice I just felt that the water being shut off at 12/1am until 4 am is kind of crazy because if your out partying and want to come back and shower then that’s not possible, also wish they allowed some foods to be able to take back to your room with you because some people can’t finish all there food an I also feel like they need a fresh coat of paint on the building it’s a lot of rust all over but other than that very nice great hospitality everything was clean give it at 7.5/10.

My husband and I have been to Mexico twice, this was our 3rd with our children.. Our stay was all inclusive with this property and I must say we were very impressed. The staff was amazing, my daughter and I enjoyed drinks by the beach and pull daily.. The food was decent. We also enjoyed a massage. The gym was dated, but who cares when you’re on vacation.. we will definitely keep this property on our would stay again list.. They were trying to get us to do a time share appointment, but what hotel(resort) doesn’t.. we declined and they didn’t haggle us.. This hotel deserves a 5 star rating in our book.

I booked Oleo with the plan of relaxing at the hotel with my two teenage boys as a special graduation trip for my youngest after finishing high school. This was meant to be a stress-free celebration and a chance to enjoy the resort, the beach, and some quality time together without having to leave the property. I specifically chose this hotel because it was advertised as a boutique experience and that is why I did not mind paying the same price as some of the other nicer resorts in Cancun. Unfortunately, I quickly realized I had made a mistake. For the price I paid, I could have stayed somewhere far nicer with better service, amenities, and overall quality. The towels were dingy and sometimes dirty, the shower tiles in our bathroom were filthy, and the entire property felt old, worn, and poorly maintained. The food was consistently cold, bland, and lacked variety, and the drinks were so watered down they were almost pointless. Staff interactions only added to the frustration. Some were unfriendly, others pushy, and surprisingly many did not speak English. This is unusual for Cancun resorts in my experience where most staff can communicate at least the basics. One elevator was broken the entire trip, leaving just one that was painfully slow. The hot tub was never warm, the pool was cloudy, and nothing about the property felt clean or well cared for. The beach had constant seaweed, which can happen in Cancun, but most resorts I have stayed at clean it up daily, sometimes even

It is a smaller resort, so not as chaotic is the larger ones. Dinning options limited. The staff was great especially Stephanie We signed for the Chichen-Itza that was offered which was fantastic. Very enjoyable experience

Very nice hotel And staff. Antonio mr chocolate was the most amazing guy who does the activities on pool and music on the pool. We love our staying at Oleo for 7nights and 8 days. We were 3 families and we enjoyed a lot. I recommend anyone whom wants to go to Cancun Mexixo, you can enjoy the stay at Oleo.

!! It wasn’t what Instagram and TikTok made it look like. I was very disappointed !! PROS: I like that the beach was right in front of the resort and everything was easy access. The rooms were spacious. The Coffee Shop was delicious. The coffee was on point! CONS: Did NOT like that most of the food was lacking flavor. The AC in the building was struggling. No air flow in our room and the bed frames were technically rotten due to water damage. The TV wasn’t working most of the time. Our waiter at the Hakka restaurant was rude and unprofessional. Their night entertainment was lacking excitement , was slightly boring. Needed more happy and exciting vibes from everyone.
Azul restaurant had a good view but the AC vents were dripping water onto our breakfast.
The view was beautiful but they need more shade all around.
The pastries tasted a lot better than the food.

Food was good, but relatively the same after 3 days at the buffet. Haka for dinner was great, sushi was delicious. Dress code is enforced during dinner service. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Was a quick stop from airport back and forth, but getting an uber ride back and forth between main hotel zone and resort felt long because of lights and congestion.
