The food was a 1 out of 5. Hardly any options. Buffet is very tiny. It was hot inside. There are no resort grounds to stroll around. The beach is very small, water is too rough to get into. Pool very loud, could never get chairs until after 5. The ceiling in our bathroom leaked in two spots entire stay. Asked in person at front desk to be fixed, nothing done. The beds are like I would imagine prison cots to be, very hard. Mini fridge all week only was stocked with 2 cans beer, 2 water bottles, 2 regular cokes , 1 lite coke and a sprite. Alcohol at bars was the worst low quality you can buy. We had all inclusive, and it wasn’t worth it. I would not stay there again, this is 3rd time in Mexico.

Great property only thing was service was kinda slow. Not enough restaurant options. Every reservation was full by 9 am for dinner. So book early. Kind of annoying to have to carry flags for pool and beach chairs. The pool towel check out and turn in was bad too. Keep track of towels or you will be charged if you lose them.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Royal Sands Resort and Spa. The property is well-kept and quite pretty with the landscaping. The infinity pool is amazing. The staff was courteous and professional. The food was good for the most part. It had it hits and misses. The food at Hacienda was delicious. Their plating was fantastic. The Veranda had excellent breakfast with a large variety. The lunch and dinner selections were good except that the pasta dishes were lacking. However, the pasta dishes that were freshly prepared upon request by one of your staffs was good. The bistro was okay. The Charthut was good. Sidelines' selection of food could be better as well. We did not eat at the Italian restaurant because we didnt think it would be good judging from the other pasta dishes as mentioned earlier. The room were clean and big in size. I recommend that it's time for the bathroom to be updated(tub and toilet bowls). The drinks were fine, but watered down Some were really good. The annoyance for us was that we had to give our card and sign everytime for food and drinks. We agree with that policy for non inclusive guests, but for all inclusive guests like us who are not paying surcharges for cerain options is not necessary. The spa services were excellent. Esperanza and Esther had magic hands. My daughter and I loved our massages. Overall, like I said earlier, we had an amazing vacation at Royal Sands. Thank you.

The property is located in a nice area of hotel zone, the beach is very nice and accessible, roo.s were clean and neat. Not much of a dining options available and the food was meh, and boring,I've had much better Mexican foods in LA.
