Expedia should be ashamed of themselves for having such a property in their listing. The property is smelly and dirty. Upon arrival I was asked before checking in to look at the room first and let them know If I want to stay there. I am assuming a lot of people have seen the crappie condition of the hotel and never bothered to stay there and was not able to get their money back. Even though I did not stay their they are refusing to refund my money. This will be reported to BBB and i will be calling the health department to report them.

There wasn’t any housekeepers available, no pots & pans, no ice trays in freezer, one of the washer wasn’t working it took my money away but won’t start the machine.. And it said pet friendly and they want $200 deposit fee and $8.00 each night for my dog to stay in room with us.. And I have ESA letter to proof and that I do not need to pay for it.. Obviously there were lots if dogs there which I don’t believe people paid $200 fee and $8.00 each night.. This is ridiculous and crazy thing I have ever heard in my life.. No where else would charge $200 for the pets to stay.. We were not very pleased with that outcome and the way the two front desk ladies were rude and instantly for us to pay $200…

My recent stay at WoodSpring Suites Chesapeake-Norfolk South (Room #208) on July 4-5 was a disaster. Paying top dollar for a 4th of July weekend stay only added to my frustration. The hotel fell short in several areas: - No working TV in the room upon check-in - No iron or ironing board, forcing me to attend a family BBQ with wrinkled clothes - Rusted and dusty bathroom vent - Consistently dirty floors in the hallway and room - A "wet floor" sign stuck in the elevator for the entire stay - Unsecured WiFi putting my personal data at risk When I spoke with the front desk about a refund, I was told nothing could be done due to the corporate offices being closed for the holiday. Given the hotel's numerous failures, I believe a full refund is justified. This stay was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

This property smells so bad on the inside it's hard to walk down the hallway. The 4th floor is absolutely terrible. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. This place is a dump.

No refund policy once you check in, so if you have a problem with the rooms afterwards, then your Stuck. Room had no remote and of course they didn't have a spare one but again, i already checked in. Not sure why they DON'T have an Ice Machine and of course they didn't mention it considering it was over 95 degrees but again it was to late because I already checked in. One and Done!

The property is not insulated properly. The tissue inside the bathroom was moist. There was a hole in the wall. It had roaches, I saw at least three. The comforter was covered in dog hair. I dont own a pet
