The hotel was pleasant to be in! Not perfect by any means but a good place to stay. Bathroom was a bit dirty and tub was stained, but all in all clean. The hotel breakfast was reasonable and fairly tasty as well, no complaints. All in all, a good place to stay. Workd well for us in our time in Chicago.

Dirty dirty bathroom. Couldn’t bathe my baby in it. Had old dirty soap bar in it and hair. Tv didn’t work, remote missing, coloring all over walls and bench. Windows open when we got in the room and it was freezing.

This is a great value for the price! The lobby and rooms are updated and clean. My only — very minor — issue was that the elevators look outdated, like paint chipping and the metal plate for the elevator buttons being crooked, but overall, it’s a nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again! There’s a Dunkin right next door. A big Japanese supermarket/food court down the street. The location is great.

A Dirty towel is in the closet and someone’s socks are in the drawer. Our family stayed double bed room. In the night, we smelled weeding smells.

The remodeled looking photos on the website are not the room I had. My room looked worn out. The shower walls were painted over (not the bathroom but the shower) and it had started to peel off. Carpet was stained all over and best of all there was cockroach in the bed and found another in the bathroom. The room next door had a dog and looked like they were living long term in the room (door left wide open and Rubbermaid crates everywhere in the room. It seemed the staff kicked them out as when I was checking out staff was in the room with the bed flipped over (frame and all) and steam cleaning everything. The lobby and elevator was very pungently filled with weed and the staff running outside to smoke weed and then coming back in (leaving the desk unmanned). Admittedly the staff was friendly but they were in a good mood…. Breakfast was a joke and was served at 6:30 and by 6:50 was totally fine with only 5-6 people eating. Overheard a staff member that showed up to eat say there was nothing left and the lady that set out the food minutes ago said it was gone and she wasn’t making anymore. So served at 6:30 and by 7:00 it was all gone and had no plans of making anything else. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Even for Comfort Inn this was a dive.
