I have always loved Hampton Inns and never had an issue until last night. Check in process was great but when got to room it was dirty. Unswept, hairs on side on mattress and hairs under top sheet.

For the most part the hotel is as expected and on par with other properties in the chain. However I was less than satisfied with the housekeeping. During a 4 night stay I think housekeeping visited the room only once, and then only after a complaint to the front desk. During that visit they only replenished the towels and emptied the trash, nothing more. It is also worth noting that the hotel is only a couple hundred yards from the local RR tracks. Trains pass by blasting their horns about every hour, 24/7 making sleep difficult for light sleepers not accustomed to such noise.
