We have just come back from a really enjoyable trip to Cologne. We stayed at Hotel Mondial am Dom. This hotel is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is located near the cathedral and the Rhine. Overall we couldn't fault it and it was a lovely way to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you.

The person who checked us in didn't point us to the elevator and it wasn't immediately obvious to me, so I walked up 4 flights of stairs with all of my luggage after being exhausted from all the travel, only to realize that there was an elevator the following morning. The stairs also smell of sewage. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and public transport options nearby.

All That, For Less than a Super 8!

Excellent spa with wonderful sauna and steam room. In the shadow of the Cathedral, 1/2 block from the Alte Markt area with restaurants everywhere. 1/2 block from the river park and the main train station, yet easy to drive to with indoor parking garage. Comfortable bed, great shower. Awesome hotel.

Hotel was really good location but was surrounded with noisy bars, especially in the evening and at a weekend. The pillows were quite possibly the worst I’ve ever had in my life, and the shower window is not ideal if sharing a twin room with friends

This hotel has friendly service and is clean and convenient to sights and restaurants. Right beside the Cathedral, Koln HBF (central train station), Museum Ludwig and many restaurants. Safe area and super clean. Hotel staff always ready to help with questions and tips. Loved the cold water in the lobby! The standard twin bed hotel room we had was comfortable and on a quiet side street. The breakfast options ranged from eggs and bacon to pancakes and fresh fruit. High quality all around!!!
