We were there for one night and it wasn’t bad for a “cheap” hotel! It’s an old hotel and it shows but it’s clean and the service is good!!

Probably wouldn’t book it again.

The beds were comfortable. Three adults yet there was only two towels in the bathroom. Bathroom was NOT clean ( especially the toilet!) A bit run down but painted. Man running the office was nice and polite. Breakfast was lame so we found a restaurant.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. No bugs of any kind. The only complaint is that the room was small. This is a great location, less than a ten minute walk from downtown, but just far enough that weekend noise didn't bother us at all.

Decent stay waking distance to the heart of downtown Columbus. Rooms are small but clean, have a mini fridge, microwave, hairdryer. They also have an onsite laundry machine for guest that cost $4 to wash and dry. Would have like to have had a smart tv so you could watch Netflix or Amazon on the tv. I did not try the breakfast but was told they didn’t have coffee. They were friendly and changed the towels in the room daily which was nice.

The breakfast is nearly non-existent. The shower was in poor shape. The curtain rod was broken and the curtain they had did not fit the shower. Because of this, water floods the bathroom and into the main room. The floor just outside the bathroom is warped and water damaged from previous guests doing the same thing. The room was extremely hot when we arrived. The staff did not turn on the air conditioner prior to our arrival. There were only two easily accessible outlets in the room. They were on the opposite side of the room from the desk. We did not receive room service during day 2. I had to go to the front desk after 7pm to ask for toilet paper and towels.

ROACH HOTEL

COCKROACHES On our return trip (7/25), we encountered a cockroach in the bathroom. We were moved from room 117 to room 105. When we woke up the next morning, there was a cockroach on the floor of that room. We expect both the room deposit and the room fee refunded to us immediately. Today is Monday, July 28, and if this is not done by the end of business today, I am going on Yelp, and I am going to the Better Business Bureau.
