I miss the old Holiday Inns.

I booked this trip for business for myself and another co worker. We got what we paid for. 2 rooms were under $300 but there were hairballs on the bathroom floor, dirty cleaning rags left behind and worn repainted toilet handles. The check in staff were polite and the lobby was clean. I felt bad there is no complimentary coffee in the morning. I did pay for the coffee served by the nicest man in the dining area.

The room is clean and presentable, but had several small easily fixed flaws. The door had a bit of paint that looked like blood on it. The bathroom had one mirror light out, and the thermostat in the room seemed to have a dying battery. Everything else about the experience was pretty good.

The location was convenient for my conference downtown, and more affordable than others in the area. The room and bathroom were well kept. Breakfast buffet was not included ($10). The mess that was in the elevator was still there the next day.
