While the staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and the oceanfront location and views are truly outstanding, I feel compelled to provide honest feedback about the condition of the room and facilities during my recent stay. Regrettably, the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the accommodation fell far below acceptable standards for a property of this category: • The room had a persistent musty odor combined with a strong smell of wet dog. • Kitchen appliances were heavily rusted and covered in various deposits and residue. • Visible dust, hair, and debris were present on the bed linens, blankets, and flooring. • Walls, baseboards, and appliances are in urgent need of repainting and thorough refurbishment. Additionally, the breakfast offering was extremely limited, consisting only of basic cereal and frozen juice, which does not align with the expectations set for the property. The friendliness of the staff and the prime oceanfront location are genuine strengths; however, the serious deficiencies in cleaning, maintenance, and basic amenities significantly impacted the overall experience and represent issues that require immediate attention is needed.

Lovely and clean, nice view from the room out to the beach and sea. Bathroom needs updating, shower very low power but manageable. Very comfy and clean beds. The entrance hall light was not working, a maintenance guy came and looked at it went to get a new bulb and never came back Check in staff very helpful.

Good stuff: I did appreciate it not being to crowded or busy. Plenty of parking, close to all the eatery in the area. Good price for a 1 night stay. Bad stuff: The room was definitely in an awkward place. I was in room 609 and I was oddly located in between 2 elevators. Didn’t understand why that room was given to me when clearly it was maybe 6 cars parked outside. The bed was hard, meaning I could feel the springs in it while sitting on the edge of the bed. The 5 pillows were something stuffed together to make a pillow NOT pillows at all. The blankets were thin not comforting at all. The smoke alarm was not connected and had a plastic bag stuck in it I’m assuming because someone may have mistaken it for a good spot to hide a camera so they stuffed it in there to probably get a piece of mind and sleep. The bathroom was very dated. The shower curtain was yellowed, and the curtain rod was some wood type rod that clearly was just put in there to make money off the room. I went down stairs a couple of time and there was some people hanging in the lobby laying across the furniture like it was a hang out spot or something. Needless to say I was there for business so I can’t complain about the convenience and price for a nights stay. I will say the pictures on the website are very misleading and the name. It’s not a resort at all. But the location was good. It needs a major facelift to carry the “Resort” name.

The room needed some TLC but was clean. Staff was very helpful. The continental breakfast included Folgers coffee, yogurt, milk, cereal, muffins and pastry. Just enough so that we didn’t have to dress and go to a restaurant. Value priced and fine for one night. View was great.
