Overall the stay was OK. The hot shower was the best part of the room. Also the staff were very nice and helpful. Also they had Gluten Free bagels (most hotels don't have anything gluten free for breakfast). The bed was the worst part of the stay. I felt like I was sleeping on a concrete floor. The water in the sink was warm on cold setting and milky white. I was very nervous to give our dog water from the sink. The front desk did offer to have maintenance man come, but she said he only worked until 5pm (it was 4:45) so I didn't have them come.We just gave our dog the bottled water we brought.

Not so good this time.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. This time was a little disappointing. The 1st room they put me in had linens all over the floor and had not been cleaned. The 2nd room was clean but the remote did not work. I got new batteries, still didn’t work. Our lotion dispensed in the bathroom was empty. There were dead flower pots hanging outside leftover from summer. It’s February. Breakfast is always enjoyable here. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Prelude to Skate Skiing

I enjoy staying at the Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center whenever I'm heading into the mountains to go skiing/hiking/climbing the next day. The hotel location allows me to have a good night's rest and get onto the I-70 corridor ahead of the brunt of the morning ski traffic. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is fairly walkable. The staff does a great job of maintaining the rooms, and Vanessa has been a pleasure to talk with during my last 2 visits. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in need of lodging in this area between Denver/Golden.
