The Indigo Hotel was a very pleasant first impression for us visiting Detroit. The location is very central in the downtown area so it is easy to walk and see quite a bit without needing transport. The Front Desk was very kind, courteous and helpful for our needs. Our room, a king suite was spacious and had nice windows to get a view of the skyline. The only gripe I had was that the pullout bed from the couch was very thin and a little creaky because it had a plastic liner I didn’t expect too much from the pull out so overall it didn’t take away much from the stay. If you’re looking to visit Detroit, this is definitely a great option for the value.

Hello!! Detroit! The front desk staff- they represent the city and they love it!! We had such an enjoyable time checking in and at the bar! The room was great, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying with hotel indigo. We were in Detroit for a concert/our anniversary and when we arrived— there was a line at the door. We later found out that rooms weren’t available yet. I understand things happen, and the staff was kind and marked our luggage and let us leave it there. I noticed a few people being rude to the staff, and the staff remained calm and kind to them despite all the chaos going on. When we came back, our room was ready and we were greeted with someone telling us happy anniversary. We found a vase with flowers, balloons little chocolates and a card. I just thought it was really sweet. Our room was spotless, and perfect. We got breakfast at the hotel, and it was a wonderful way to end the trip before we headed home. Thank you!! I can’t say this enough, The front desk staff was beyond exceptional!!!! I look forward to my next stay. -Sadia Kutz

The room was a little run down (worn out floors, poor sink water pressure, and general ware + tear), but you couldn’t beat the price for this location. The staff was great, very helpful and everything we wanted was in walking distance.

We stayed at this property for the sold out Post Malone concert (obviously a busy weekend). Upon arrival we attempted to valet our car which was the first disaster. There was no organization and ultimately our car ended up sitting in the middle of a busy street until they finally moved it. Then the line was OUT the door to check in to our room. We arrived around 5pm (check in was at 4) and were told that our room still wasn’t ready and they would call us when it was. There was a lobby FULL of people also waiting for rooms. I understand things happen but no compensation or solution was offered. Our room was great once we finally got in but ultimately I wouldn’t recommend this hotel
