Room was a good size and clean but very noisy with thin walls. Auto closing doors slam shut causing disturbance through the night and early morning. A pet hate but the television wasn't tuned which is a basic. Well supported by buses into the city centre and staff are very friendly and polite. Let down by the physical facilities.

The receptionist won’t let us check in before 3 pm when I asked at 2 pm. Later in the evening I noticed an email was sent to me that our room was ready at 1:30 pm email. The receptionist didn’t even check our room at 2 pm but just stick her mind set that check in is 3 pm. I think she needs to be trained better for a better customer service.

The hotel is really great looking. A few things let it down. The check-in staff looked at me as if I was an inconvenience, and there was no rose in shower. The rest was great and I would go back.

Poor for a 4 star hotel at £200 a night! The beds have no nearby electricity sockets so if you recharge your phone overnight or engage in some pre sleep scrolling, that can’t be done next to you, but rather over at the desk, which is just annoying. This distance is a pain when your alarm goes off too. In an effort to overcome this design flaw, I requested an electric plug extension lead. Big mistake. The staff was dismissive to the point of patronising. No bog standard builders tea bags - that hurt! No air conditioning in the room, so expect a stuffy night when its warm. Room was clean & pillows were good. The bed was as firm as a wooden board which is good for some, but a bit weird for me. Who needs the hassle when spending this much? I’ll go elsewhere next time.
