Nice Stay

Staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, we will go back. Fantastic location in Temple Bar. We slept well even though the streets were full of noisy people. Restaurant and Bar in the hotel were very hospitable and breakfast was tasty.

The hotel and staff were great, with a Great location in Temple Bar...the one advisory I would mention is that the shower/tub in our room was at a higher than usual level for entry, without a handrail placed to assist with the entry (the existing handrail is poorly placed for entry/exit)...no big deal for us, but I can see where some folks might struggle with the in and out for their shower needs. The hotel should advise of the loud club-like music that will be radiated throughout your room all night upon arrival and offer ear plugs to guests at check-in, especially to guests staying on lower floors at the front of the hotel and who advise of an early morning flight. It is understood that Temple Bar is a “vibrant” area, but is it really necessary to excessively blast music until all hours when the foot traffic on the street obviously diminishes before 10:00pm? Although the room itself was very comfortable, and well appointed, very little rest was had due to the extensive booming noise. Also disappointed that despite it being included in the pricey overnight rate, the breakfast box to-go confirmed at check-in due to an early departure did not materialize at check-out in the morning.

I would highly recommend the hotel. The staff was incredible. It’s in a terrific location! The thermostat was impossible to figure out as was the coffee pot. The only other issue was the bathtub/shower unless you are very tall, you have to climb over the tub, which is very high off the ground to get into the shower. I’ve never seen anything like it, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I’m merely mentioning it for somebody else who might be less than 5‘4“ in height.

Highly recommend

Very good hotel in a central location with easy access to buses, trams and the DART. The hotel staff are lovely, polite ans very friendly. The room was very comfortable, with nice toiletries and a very comfy bed.

Beautiful hotel in a great area, with an excellent staff. Convenient to all the must see sites in Dublin. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because there was no air conditioning. Apparently we were there during a particularly warm season and needed some A/C. We opened windows which helped except the street outside was noisy until very late in the night.

The Morgan is a great hotel in a more Americanized district of Dublin. It is convenient and easily walkable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Bar and breakfast onsite.
