Downtown MainStreet Penthouse 1BR five star Rental with parking overlooking main

This historic stone building was the Salvation Army building that was built in 1911. It is above my law office and was our New York style penthouse living quarters when a complete rebuild was done in 2009. It overlooks Main Avenue right next to Olde Tymers Cafe, and is two doors south from Carvers in Downtown Durango. It is a five star accommodation with an enclosed and heated garage for parking. In my opinion it is the most beautiful penthouse apartment in downtown Durango. The VRBO tenants confirm this description. It has first class amenities including high-end kitchen appliances, beautiful furnishings, Master bath with free standing soaker tub, steam shower, courtyard, and a balcony. It has double paned windows which allows for great insulation and low noise. My wife and I only want to rent to 2 adults, We want to keep the unit in beautiful condition, we only allow 2 persons to sleep in the unit. No large or loud parties. Although there is a small second bedroom, it is not okay for others to sleep there. If not approved by owners, a penalty fee will be added to your stay. The location is amazing, walk out your front door to great restaurants, bars and other amenities. It will not disappoint you. We rarely allow adult children to stay, and have recently made the decision to not allow young children. The place is perfect for two adults,,,,and the cleaning is so much more difficult when kids stay, as well as their impact on the space. This penthouse and its garage has another VRBO (212471) for additional accommodations for your additional guests (1BR luxury apartment above the garage) which can also be rented along with this unit.
