We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive but not as many amenities. We enjoyed our stay

Excellent stay. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast was continental and perfectly presented. The evening meal was the biggest helping of fish and chips I have ever had.

Lovely stay in a nice room with en-suite, loved the old furniture and beautiful bathroom fittings. Staff lovely, continental breakfast with lots of choice. Parking is free, and although it is a very small village it was nice to walk around and the villagers were friendly too.

Great location for the job i was on, everything i needed and very well priced compared with others around the area, On street parking right outside hotel and never felt worried about leaving van on the street, food was excellent and a local shop within walking distance definitely will return when back in the area
