Lovely hotel stayed 1 night on the way to aliwee caves.staff very nice and helpful .only a few mi uets outside Ennis

I was particularly happy to see that you found our staff to be helpful and friendly, as a family run hotel this is very important to us. Also the location of the hotel is very convenient for site seeing and shopping. With the Burren only 10 minutes up the road, The Cliffs of Moher approximately 30 minutes away from us and the historic town of Ennis, famous for its music, narrow streets and boutique shops only 5 minutes away from us. Room was very dated for what we expected of a 4 star hotel and of the pictures we had seen online. The leather effect headboard was peeling off and was all over my husbands pillows and bed. The breakfast was ok, nothing special (no mushrooms or beans) and was not being kept very warm. In fact my children commented that the breakfast was cold. I also had to ask for more sausages to be brought out and white bread on our second morning. Overall our stay was average or ok. For the price and the rating of a 4 star hotel I would have expected far more. The staff at reception were very helpful.

Disappointing lack of communication between staff

Pros: The central lobby very impressive
Cons: Staff communications and customer care
Location: Very isolated could do with better lighting at the front, easily missed
When I phoned to inform the staff I would be arriving late they had no record of my reservation but assured me it would be okay. When I arrived i was asked for my credit card to charged considerably more than what I had confirmed. Everything. Just seemed really disorganised, I was then denied credit at breakfast despite providing my credit card the night before., All very frustrating.
