This was a final weekend vending after a long trip. The room was okay. We didn’t see any critters in the room even though they had traps down. It was appropriate for the price we paid.

It said it had breakfast and there was none! Had to got to the front desk to get towels and toilet paper and the front desk agent questioned me on where my towels went! I informed him I had my children and husband with me and we needed more than 2 sets of towels. The gentleman that checked me in also said I need to change my room type and my price then jumped from $124 to $170 and they downgraded my room! Never again!

The owners and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room lacked cleanliness especially in the bathroom and I had multiple problems with the AC unit. I had to bring my own fan in to cool the room down Great price for what you get, but housekeeping should definitely improve.

I wouldn't let my dog stay here

We planned to stay just overnite on our way home from NC. We arrived early and were denied an early check in. That was fine. I understand they need time to flip rooms. When we returned we got the key and drove around the side of the building to locate our room. The metal stairs were rusty. Inside the room, it is really in need of an upgrade. I went to place my dog's water bowl on the floor and found a black greasy film all along the baseboard and a roach trap in the tub. In the bathroom there was a six inch circular area of porcelain missing in the tub wall. There was what looked like semen tried on the wall by the bed. We left immediately and just drove straight through to our home. I don't know why my early check in request was denied, they surely didn't clean it. Don't get me wrong, it is tricky traveling with a dog. I know you don't get the nicest rooms. And I know you get what you pay for but jeez louise I expected more than this.

Great value.

I have stayed here multiple times and will continue to as I feel it is the best value property in the Fredericksburg area. I have never had a horrible experience here, the service, cleanliness, and condition of the rooms are always a good value for what's paid. If I can be picky, the mattress is on the firm side, but the room is always clean, all of the lights work properly and well, and usually the neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves. Will continue to stay here when I'm in the area.
