The position of the hotel is good super close to the train station, besides that it was definetly not a good experience. The reception initially had no idea I had a booking and that I had already paid. The wifi never worked, there wasn't even a bottle of water in the room. Other hotels in the same price range are much better.

Sehr gute Unterkunft für einen Besuch in Gießen. Das Hotel ist vom Bahnhof fußläufig zu erreichen. An- und Abreise sind also sehr unkompliziert. Trotz der Nähe zum Bahnhof ist das Hotel ruhig gelegen. Ich habe keinen Zugverkehr mitbekommen. Außerdem fahren vom Bahnhof diverse Buslinien ab. Man ist also gut angebunden. Frühstück hebt sich spürbar positiv vom Standard-Frühstück vieler Hotels ab. Hotel ist vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür in gutem Zustand. Ich hatte ein gemütliches Einzelzimmer mit renovierten Bad, das sehr sauber war. Personal war sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Gut gelegen, Nähe Bahnhof und Flixbushaltestelle. Sehr netter Empfang, Zimmer praktisch eingerichtet, sehr schön das renovierte Bad/Toilette. Frühstücksraum sehr ansprechend, sehr gutes Frühstücksangebot, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Empfehlenswert!

Das Einzelzimmer war klein aber sauber und vollkommen ok für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Bad war neu und sauber, die Matratze gut. Für mich ein Plus: Keine Klimaanlage und Fenster, die noch zu öffnen sind. Der geflieste Fußboden macht das Zimmer hygienischer und hält es trotz Außentemperatur von 30 Grad etwas kühler. Da es in Gießen nicht sehr viele Hotels gibt, sucht man auch vergeblich nach echten Schnäppchen. Das Zimmer war für die Ausstattung etwa 10-20€ zu teuer. Für einen Erholungsurlaub würde ich das Hotel allerdings nicht wählen.

No A/C in nice hotels in Europe in the summer.

You need to be careful with hotels in Europe in the summer. They are not equipped for the heat that Europe experiences in the summer now. This hotel was very nice but without an A/C. They at least had a fan. Others i stayed in with Hotels.com did not and seamed to be in denial. When talked about the new heat in Europe now they all told me they have A/C at home, yet none in the hotels.
