The room was comfortable but had a knackered bed, a bed light not working, worn carpet, the bathroom had no plug in order to have a bath, a cracked floor tile which was a bit jagged and no tissues in the dispenser so the impression was they hadn't bothered to present the room and is actually a room not fit for purpose

Reception staff were very very welcoming. Room carpet has stains, marks on walls and ceiling Bed comfortable, fridge chilled

Fantastic stay at the Lorne and the girl on reception (Louise) couldn’t do enough to make the stay as enjoyable and relaxing. Hotel is in a great location and our upgraded room was beautiful and spacious. Fantastic shower and nice complimentary toiletries.

Decent rooms which I think had been updated. Shower fitting needed fixing though. Rooms quite small - not a problem for me as was on my own. Good value for money considering position.
