Was hard to park the car as we needed to do this about 15 min walk from the door, no real drop off area to park and used the cabbie line, got the look but they never asked me to move but it seams normal in Spain just to stop anywhere and do what you need as long as your quick. Hotel was in the center of everything we wanted to see. Book well in advance for the palace museum that we never got to see but the grounds outside were still fantastic.

The location was perfect! Central to everything. We were easily able to walk to Alhambra, the Cathedral, restaurants and everywhere else we wanted to explore. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We arrived very early and they kindly stored our luggage while we ate and explored until our room was ready.

Incredible location, right on Plaza Nueva, in the middle of everything. Easy walk to everywhere. Alhambra visible from the front. Our room was in the back, fairly quiet (some noises came through thin walls, but neighbors weren't bad, and morning action was mostly breakfast noise coming from downstairs through the staircase, nothing horrendous). Small room, but comfortable. Window opening to nothing. Pleasant front desk people. Tons of restaurants, stores, bars, tapas close by. We would return because of the location, difficult to beat.

Clean and well kept room. Breakfast is very good (though you have to go to another hotel for the breakfast). Location is superb! I am surprised that it’s rated as a 2-star hotel. It’s definitely should be a 3-star. Very good value!

Plaza Macià Old City

Great location. A little hard to get to the hotel with all luggage since cars not allowed in old city, but instructions were clear enough. Hotel offers parking at sister hotel which is a 20min walk. Location of hotel is great. Friendly staff and rooms quiet enough. Good value.

Evrything was great with the Staff which was very helpfull and friendly. The hotel was clean and well maintained like new. The bad things were: We didn't like very much the room even though it was confortable and big enough, but it was an interior room with a small window to an interior small opening to a patio, which means that we didn't have any view and minimum natural light. The room was also very noisy and you could hear most noises from other floors and other rooms and corridors. There was also a strong smell of tobacco in the room as if previous guests smoked. We don't smoke and that smell bothered us.
